You’d think Bravo would splash news of Season 3 all over its cluttered, tiny-print Website, but it takes some digging to find out what’s up. Top Chef’s third season will premiere this summer Wednesday, June 13 from Miami this time. Queer Eye’s delightful Ted Allen will join Head Judge, Chef Tom Colicchio, and Gail Simmons of Food and Wine magazine at the judges’ table and Padma Lakshmi will be back as host.
And according to the the Reuters news service, Bravo will also launch a year-round Website called TopChefOnline.com, which will include a Web series called Miami Spice, as well as food and wine blogs. (Not this one, dontcha think?)
Ted Allen, by the way, has bought a $1.7 million Brooklyn brownstone with his partner, Barry Rice. You can read all about that here.
