Just a few “housekeeping” notes:
- Most important is that I disabled the Snap previews of links after learning they can make life difficult for people with slow connections, but especially for some with visual impairments. There is a way for individuals to turn it off on a site by site basis, but disabling it from my end seemed a better solution.
- I added two feeds at the bottom of the sidebar. One is the recipe feed from Epicurious, which is usually updated Monday through Friday. The other is the political feed from Newsweek, updated as warranted. The ambiguous slug for this feed is wording I’m obligated to use to display it.
- Last, I’ve made it easier for those outside the WP family to leave comments. If I get spammed out the ying-yang, I’ll have to change it back.
