Beauty is only a light switch away.”
Top Chef Season 3 finalist Dale Levitski, during the cast reunion October 10. A nosy viewer wanted to know if the gay chef is still single (yes) and what his type is. His answer was one of the tedious reunion’s few bright moments.

LOL! Oh, big time!
One of the few spots in what seemed to me to be a pretty lame effort.
The reunion show reinforced that Hung winning was OK, too.
I agree! Hung was the right choice.
And did you catch the moment, when they were going over the prizes for fan favorite and Casey looked on the verge of barfing at the Calphalon? Till she won it. Phony.
From the first moment of the finale show, I was over Casey!
The instant she moaned and whined about the altitude, standing there on that incredible mountaintop, I knew she didn’t have a lick of winner in her. Then she tried to throw Howie under the bus at the Judge’s Table!
Major letdown.
Hung (who I hadn’t liked at all!) won me over with his reaction to Rocco coming off the gondola. And he was nice to Sara.
Oh yeah, the food looked darn good too!
I was never a Casey fan but it took a couple shows to realize what bothered me, aside from her smugness. She was covertly bitchy. At least Season 1’s Tiffani owned her bitchiness.
Hung won me over with 1) his cereal village and 2) his spot-on competitiveness in not giving away his secrets in the French cooking competition. For Dale and Casey to kvetch about that was just whiny.
Did you watch Season 1?
I haven’t yet. Hopefully this winter it’ll run one cold, blowy Saturday.
