@rhbee - the shorts are brilliant! Hillary might still win Tuesday (I doubt it, especially after the parking lot situation I described upthread) but I don't think it has hurt her one bit to find out that the mantle of inevitability does not fit perfectly on her shoulders. She might well have been entitled to her own political career after the Monica humiliation, but that does not entitle her to further residence on Pennsylvania Avenue.

I don't know if McCain is electable outside of NH, but I could say that for everyone in the GOP field.

@pbsweeney - if you're mushy and gullible, you have a lot of company. I was near an Obama field office this afternoon and decided to stop in to see how it's going.

I couldn't. Their lot was full, adjacent lots of small stores that are closed today were full, some people parked on the road, half in a ditch.

It's happening and I've got gooseflesh.

That cartoon is great because the more you look at it the more you see the broadness of the comment. At first, I just wondered who the clown in the underwear was, too fat to be Bill, but then I noticed the hearts. Is that a low blow or what?

Meanwhile, this is, as they say, turning into a long horse race. I haven't seen nor heard too much about McCain since the Huck started coming on but I will be interested to see that if he does take NH what will happen next. Over time, my experiences with the American electoral system is that both parties tend towards wanting the known quantity to be elected, that being someone who represents their real interests and histories. If so then, McCain may still be it and Clinton may still be in.
