Cardiac ward cheese dip

June 2, 2008

in Food Network, fun stuff, videos

I have some kindred souls at Serious Eats. I’ve ragged Paula Deen for not only frying butter but then posting the recipe. Serious Eats, however, has an entire series called Paula Deen is Trying to Kill Us.

The latest installment includes a bonus video. Watch as Paula (or Pauler, as she sometimes says) whips together a bunch of artery-clogging ingredients, including “jarred cheese.” I wasn’t sure what that meant until her emphasized hint: “cheese gee whiz.” When she says, “walking out the door…” I can’t stop myself from adding “…to the ambulance.”

BUT SHE SAID IT WAS CLASSIC!! :D

Gag…ptooey…wretch…hurl

I think I’m ok now. That was nasty, truly nasty and wretched! Gee whiz, I think I just lost my appetite and I was just going to make some breakfast.

I won’t be going to THAT party, that’s all I can say.

Happy Monday!

LOL, chickenbutt! You’re right, it doesn’t even look appetizing.

But I watched it again and here’s an encouraging thought: if the butter is unsalted, there’s no sodium concern…

:D

Good grief.

Mind boggling. Only thing missing is Cool Whip on top.

Yummy.
