Happy Thanksgiving to you as well!
Many thanks for all the fabulous recipes and cooking tips. Have a great holiday!
Cheers,
Kathy
Thanks, Kathy, and the same to you and yours — and back at ya on the kind words!
I had really nice Thanksgiving, ella, and your recipe, Sesame Green Beans, was loved by all! It was subtle and exotic. I actually had fun making it; I’d never roasted green beans before.
I hope your holiday was wonderful and also your travels!
MusEditions’s last blog post..Thanks and Thoughts
I’m absolutely thrilled to hear that, Muse! Thank you so much for letting me know. I’m equally delighted you had a good holiday.
It was a lovely day here too, and we overate as usual. I think turkey carcass soup is the order of the day today. That’s as much a tradition for me as pumpkin pie!
Mmmmmm! Soup! And the leisure time to simmer soup, curl up with turkey sandwiches, and a good book ~ I almost enjoy the leftovers more than the Big Day
Thanks for From Scratch. <3 (so cute to see Cookie Monster!)
Enjoy your week *off *, ella.
Look to the SSW at twilight. Jupiter and Venus are a duet of Evening Stars to wish upon.

Monday evening, if memory serves, the crescent moon will be there with them.
Hi, sage! I thought of you and sent good thoughts your way when I added “you” to the dressing!
Today is a luxury. I’ve worked the day after TG and the holiday itself more times than I care to think. How anyone could go out and fight the crowds today is beyond me.
I am directionally challenged, but I actually do know where at least SW is and will look tonight and Monday, if it’s clear enough. Thanks! I will hear Jiminy Cricket singing in my mental juke box as I wish upon a star. Or two.
Enjoy your leftovers, your book, your day and any mischief you might get up to!
Hi Ella, just passing thru, was ‘taken’ by that image on your Thanksgiving post … artist is?
Otherwise, trust all is well. Your recipes, suggestions ever entice … cookies, cakes, meats, soups, and now GIFTS suggestions too!!!
Sharing tips: I heard of a combo I’ll be trying soon – mango & avocado …. just makes SENSE doesn’t it?
Season’s Very Best to you.

HI! What a lovely surprise. Oh, yes, mango and avocado sounds like a perfect combo. Maybe a little lime or lemon juice to brighten things up, prevent browning? Yum time, either way.
I have no idea who the picture’s by. Wish I did. I signed into photobucket one day and it was on the front page. The golden caught my eye immediately; I still miss my goldie. Loving apples as I do, it became a no-brainer to use it.
I’m intrigued about your goose story. I’ll stop by tomorrow when I have time to savor it.
Good to see you! And ho ho back at ya!
