Merry Christmas, Ella! And best wishes for a peaceful New Year.
I’m not sick of cookies (yet) but I’m sure sick of Christmas cake. Or maybe I just ate too much again.

Thanks, gents, and Happy New Year to you both.
CJ – I am positive the Christmas cake was so good you indulged. Cookie on! Good to see you.
I was halfway to the car, on my way to work, when I had to turn around, come back and tell you – I know now what reading your blog is like. It gives me the same feeling I used to get when I would stand in my grandmother’s pantry and gaze around, transfixed and drooling.
Thanks for providing us so many delicious tidbits to salivate over! I look forward to more drooling in the New Year!
