This time it was Jill Biden, wife of the vice president-elect. She let slip that husband Joe had a choice of being vice president or Secretary of State. And she said it right in front of him. It happened today during their visit to Oprah Winfrey’s show in Washington. Surprise!

Evening update: The Obama campaign/transition team has issued a statement to clarify Biden was never officially offered the Secretary of State position. Key word: officially.
