Given Illinois’s deserved reputation for corrupt politics, I was surprised to learn Rod Blogojevich is the state’s first governor to be impeached. The state Senate voted unimously Thursday to convict him on a count of an alleged pattern of abuse of power.
The few days before, Blago was all over TV whining about his situation, comparing himself to Ghandi (!) and other great men while calling himself, over and over, the anti-Nixon because he wanted everyone to hear his expletive-laden tapes. But an important difference between those two men is Nixon had the brains and political acumen to resign before the US Senate could vote on his impeachment charges.

I’m having a hard time understanding why this guy was getting time on Larry King, et al.
Aren’t there ethical restraints against exploiting someone so obviously ‘unwell’?
HA!
If the cable shows agreed not to have nuts on as guests, the schedules would be very skimpy. And if Fox decided not to have nuts as hosts, the channel would go dark.
