And with only a few hours left, a happy Passover to you. And, a little gift, made even better because the Passover rapper is Michael Eskin, a University of Manitoba food chemist!

Happy Pesach Ella!
One sedar done, one to go!
Now, I’ll have to figure out how to make sushi with matzah!

Thanks, Muse! Between seders and Easter dinner, it’s just one big food fest around here. Oy, matzah brei…its motto must be Clogging Arteries One Year at a Time. Hee!

Yes, perhaps traditionally that’s true. But not the way WE make it: Whole wheat matza; some water, some “Best o’ the egg” or whatever it’s called—you know the “real egg but lite” liquid in a carton?—to moisten; some finely chopped onion, and a LIGHT coating of olive oil in the pan. The eggy-stuff holds it all together. A little salt and pepper and we’re done. Yum! Reasonable amount of calories!
[I was nice and waited until after your fast to post this.] A very happy Easter to you, ella! :)
