Cartoon of the week – 4/12/09

A long, long time ago Don McLean wrote a song about peace in the Middle East, which of course still eludes. He wrote and sang of Jerusalem, home of three great religions.

Jerusalem is old, Jerusalem is new
Jerusalem can hold Moslem, Christian, Jew.

On this holiest of days in Chistendom, in the midst of Passover, I was delighted to see a cartoon that so simply and eloquently expresses a hope for what seems to be impossible.
