Bravo has announced the 24 chef participants for Top Chef Masters, to debut this fall. Viewers hoping for a slate of household names will be disappointed, unless it’s a foodie household. The most famous are Hubert Keller, John Besh, Art Smith, Suzanne Tracht and Rick Bayliss.
The progression has been clarified. While each episode will employ the quickfire and elimination challenges familiar from Top Chef, they will compete initially in groups of four. So each of the first six weeks, four chefs will compete and the winner goes on to the final six-chef competition spanning four weeks. The winner will get $100,000 to be donated to charity.
