Steve Breen of the San Diego Union-Tribune won the Pulitzer this week for Editorial Cartooning. It’s his second Pulitzer; his first came in 1998 when he worked for a New Jersey paper.
The U-T is rightly proud and posted a short, but interesting, video of him talking about his art and its crafting. And so today’s cartoon is not one but 20, the portfolio he submitted for consideration for the Prize. I seldom agree with his political point of view but certainly appreciate his excellence so, Mr. Breen, congratulations!

They certainly are! I’m glad you enjoyed them, roads. The baseball/steroids is my favorite. Those cheaters and liars don’t ever deserve to make it to the Hall of Fame.
