Health care reform? Still waiting after all these decades. But isn’t it amazing how quickly our thrifty elected officials in both parties can work — and work together — when the $2 billion issue is wildly popular with voters, such as extending Cash for Clunkers?
I swear, if self-serving hypocrisy weren’t free, Congress would need its own bailout.
