OMG. This is too funny. It’s a recording of a phone call on August 9, 1964, when President Lyndon Johnson contacted the famous pants company, Haggar, to get some more slacks for lounging around after work. Vietnam War? Fuhgeddaboudit. Pants!
LBJ needed an extra half-inch in the waist but didn’t know his size and more room in the crotch, helpfully using the word “balls” to make it clear exactly where he wanted a little breathing room. And later, he belches. Loudly.
