in GOP, fun stuff, politics

No wonder Republicans had no qualms about electing and re-electing frat boy George “Is our children learning?” W. Bush. Their children “isn’t” learning.

Take a look at this ad for one of the propaganda shows on Fox. Consider that the grade-school-level mistake was made by the copy writer, okayed by the copy editor and okayed again by whoever’s in charge of ads for girlfriend Matty Drudge, whose website ran the ad. It got by them all.

Hi, Stella! Yep, I think they should quit pretending. The only news programs they have are the 10 hours per week that Shep Smith is on. The rest is commentary and agit-prop.

Yeah, darn libruls. And while we’re “focussing” can we point out the singular of “lenses” is not “lense”? Boy, that makes me nuts!

Unnecessary apostrophes are not as infuriating to me as mixing up you’re / your. So many people make this mistake, it confirms that our children isn’t learning good enuff.

That one annoys me too, Nate. And then there’s its/it’s and there/their/they’re. (I think I’m very lucky that English is my native tongue. How confusing it must be to ESL students…)
